Ahn Hyo Seop, Hong Hwa Yeon, And More Impress At Script Reading For “Final Table”
JTBC’s new Saturday–Sunday drama “Final Table” is gearing up for its premiere!
“Final Table” follows talented Korean chefs from across the globe as they gather to compete in “The Table: K-Chef 2026,” a high-stakes survival competition to determine the best Korean chef.
In addition to director Kim Do Hoon, actors Ahn Hyo Seop, Hong Hwa Yeon, Chang Ryul, Jung Yoo Jin, Jang Young Nam, Cha Ji Yeon, and more attended the script read-through.
Ahn Hyo Seop plays chef Kang Han, a mysterious figure who has mostly worked in restaurants overseas. He brought the character to life by using multiple languages naturally, and he filled the set with a serious expression and intense focus when depicting scenes in which he showcases his cooking to the judges.

Hong Hwa Yeon stars as Choi Song Yi, the capable front-of-house manager of the restaurant Familia. The actress conveyed the character’s resolute nature through her lines, subtly showing that Choi Song Yi does not become easily discouraged despite facing various setbacks while establishing her restaurant.

Chang Ryul plays chef Cha Woo Jin, who leads the renowned restaurant Exception, displaying charisma as the executive chef who commands the restaurant’s atmosphere. Furthermore, Jung Yoo Jin portrays Seon Jung Won, the executive producer of “The Table: K-Chef 2026,” demonstrating her character’s gentle leadership.

Jang Young Nam plays chairwoman Moon Hae Sun of Pyeongyeon Group, which is ranked No. 1 in the country’s foodservice industry. Exuding a cold aura, she added tension to the script read-through. Cha Ji Yeon portrays Moon Hae Sun’s half-sister Baek Hyun Joo, creating a chilly atmosphere with her ambition to assume the position of Pyeongyeon Group chair.

“Final Table” is slated to premiere on 24 October at 10:40pm KST.
