[instiz][OFFICIAL] CORTIS’ 2ND MINI-ALBUM REACHES 4 MILLION COPIES SOLD CUMULATIVELY

The group CORTIS has surpassed 4 million cumulative sales with a single album. This achievement is particularly significant, as the only other act to achieve “quadruple million-seller” status in the domestic market this year is BTS with ARIRANG; CORTIS joins this rank with their second mini-album, GREENGREEN.

According to the latest weekly album chart released by Circle Chart on the 17th (tracking period: September 6–12), GREENGREEN by CORTIS recorded cumulative sales of approximately 4.1 million copies. Upon its release last May, the album sold 2,313,291 copies in its first week (initial sales volume) according to the Hanteo Chart, a roughly fivefold increase compared to the 436,467 copies sold during the first week of their previous release. Circle Chart reported that the album surpassed the 3-million-copy mark in July, just 11 weeks after its release, and added another million copies in sales over the following two months.

Tracks such as the title song “REDRED” and the B-side “YOUNGCREATORCREW” captivated listeners with their fresh sound and lyrics. Analysts attribute the strong album sales to the high level of interest generated by the music itself.
