Seeing how reports initially said only Rose, Jennie, and Jisoo would attend, with Lisa sitting out the BlackPink 10th-anniversary event, before it was announced that all 4 would go, it really seems like Lisa didn’t want to attend until the very end

As someone who used to be a huge BlackPink fan but moved on to focus on real life, I can totally understand where Lisa is coming from, though I’d still love for her to stay with the group.

Anyway, it’s obvious she’s really reluctant to do group activities in Korea compared to solo work, but leaving the team without renewing the contract would inevitably draw a lot of backlash… It’s a tough spot for her to be in.

If they were going to act like this, why even continue group activities? They should have just disbanded when their contracts ended. They only renewed because they still needed the clout that comes with the “BlackPink” name, right? In that case, the least they could do is show some sincerity toward the fans. It’s not just Lisa, none of the members seem to have any attachment to group activities anymore, so I really don’t get why they renewed their contracts.
