When that meme first came out, I thought WISH fans would hate it, but it was actually hilarious how they were totally into it, calling the WISH kids “cute and petite.” Since the whole appeal is that they’re demure, slender Japanese guys, so stuff like that doesn’t really bother them

Even 15 years ago, I was surprised that the members of Girls’ Generation seemed taller than the guys, but when I look at photos of them taken with Katy Perry, who was 173 back then, they look even taller. It seems that Girls’ Generation’s proportions and physical stats were overwhelmingly superior to the average, whereas 2NE1 and Kara were about the same as Japanese female idols

I’ve seen 82major in person before, and they really are all lanky. They looked like a row of wooden totem poles. But when I got home and looked up their profiles, I saw they’re around 181 or 182, so they’re not actually that tall, way shorter than I thought, which was f*cking surprising… I guess they just look taller because of their build
