Actor Jung Joonwon is once again facing criticism, this time not over his appearance, but over his attitude on a variety show.

Following his appearance on the August 1 episode of MBC’s ‘Hangout with Yoo’?, some viewers expressed disappointment with his performance.

During the broadcast, Jung appeared nervous and seemed unable to adjust to the fast-paced atmosphere typical of variety shows, maintaining a cautious and reserved demeanor throughout.

In one segment, where the cast had to deliver the same line in different styles, he struggled to begin his performance, causing the flow of the segment to stall somewhat.

Meanwhile, Heo Kyun-hwan and Gong Hyojin actively embraced the challenge and kept the energy up, making Jung’s comparatively passive approach stand out even more.

After the episode aired, online reactions were divided. Some criticized him, saying he “didn’t put enough effort into the variety show” and found his performance “frustrating to watch.” Others defended him, arguing that he is naturally introverted and was simply nervous.
