In a recent interview with The Playlist, Andrew Garfield answered that when asked whether he would be willing to appear in a third solo Spider-Man movie, “I would be willing to go back if it were a completely different production.”

He said, “I hope it would be a Spider-Man movie of the genre I’ve never seen before,” and for example, “A Spider-Man like Road Movie would be interesting.” If it’s the approach of the expected, different from the existing superhero formula, it means it’s enough to challenge.

However, he said that he wants to wear a suit again only when he can unfold the story in a completely different way than the previous Spider-Man movie, rather than simply repeating the sequel to the past.”
