The scene went viral as a meme on various social media platforms and online communities, sparking a flood of negative comments such as “He can’t act.” At the same time, polarizing reactions emerged regarding Queen Gong Seungyeon, who exuded charisma, with some asking, “Did she always act this well?”

Earlier, at the production press conference for ‘Perfect Crown’, when asked, “How will you portray the complex character of Prince Lee an?” Byun Wooseok replied, “I discussed it extensively with the director, and I had already talked a lot beforehand to try to do better.” He added, “For this project as well, I did my absolute best and paid extra attention to ensuring that viewers could emotionally connect with the character. I focused solely on the character’s narrative.”
