[theqoo] [BREAKING] JAPANESE TRAINEE WHO WENT MISSING AHEAD OF 6-MEMBERS IDOL GROUP DEBUT REFERRED TO PROSECUTORS

A Japanese trainee who suddenly went off the grid just before his scheduled debut as part of a six-member male idol group has been referred to the prosecution on charges of fraud.

On the 4th, the Seoul Yeongdeungpo Police Station announced that it had referred the trainee, identified as “A” (29), to the prosecution without detention on the 29th of last month.

According to the police and the agency, A disappeared last December, with only two months remaining until his debut, after simply stating that the “relationship of trust had broken down.”
