The apology sparked an even more intense backlash.

Byun Wooseok attended the press conference for Netflix’s new variety show “Yoo Jaesuk’s Camp” on the 19th. Byun Wooseok gave a passionate performance as the lead character, Prince Lee An, in the recently concluded drama ‘Perfect Crown,’  but a flood of controversy over historical distortion led to an unprecedented situation where all the actors, including Byun Wooseok, declined to give wrap-up interviews.
