“Even reviewers known for their brutally honest takes are calling it one of the S-tier films in Nolan’s career. And that’s not just a minority opinion, it’s actually the dominant consensus. I even saw a critic rank it among Nolan’s top three films. Seriously, what on earth did he make?”

Actually, Nolan’s movies haven’t exactly received such low ratings from critics, but 

that said, is he a director critics actually like? It felt a bit ambiguous, and  fans were just expecting something along the lines of, “Nolan’s making ‘The Odyssey’ this time~ It’s gonna be epic and super fun~,” but but now that major media outlets and critics are suddenly showering it with perfect scores, people are like “….?? Is it that good?? (scratching head)”
