Actor Do Kyungsoo is returning to the small screen.

Do Kyungsoo will take on the lead role of Kim In-jong in the new drama “We Are the Zombies,” taking on the challenge of a human comedy that differs from conventional zombie genres.

“We Are the Zombies” is set in a large shopping mall that has been sealed off due to a virus of unknown origin, and depicts the story of the people left inside as they try to survive together. Rather than focusing on the battle against zombies, the series centers on the daily lives, relationships, recovery, and hope of those trapped in the same space.

Kim In-jong, the character played by Do Kyungsoo, visits the mall with friends and gets caught up in a sudden zombie outbreak. He is a man who has bounced from one part-time job to another to make ends meet; while he hates anything that’s a hassle, he possesses a quirky charm and a down-to-earth personality.
