‘Lee-seob’s Romance’ is an office romance drama based on the popular web novel of the same name by author Kim Eon-hee. The story follows the unfolding relationship between Tae Lee-seob, a third-generation chaebol heir of TK Group who is perfect in every way but clumsy at romance, and Kang Min-kyung, a colleague who joined the company at the same time and possesses exceptional professional skills. The original work gained popularity not only as a web novel but also as a webtoon adaptation.

Hwang Minhyun is set to showcase a new side of his acting in the romance genre by taking on the role of Tae Lee-seob. Tae Lee-seob is an elite figure who has risen through the ranks at record speed and age, having always been number one in everything he does. He experiences unexpected emotional changes when Kang Min-kyung, the person who caused him to experience “second place” for the first time, becomes his secretary.

Lee Jongsuk was originally slated to play the role of Tae Lee-seob, but the casting ultimately fell through due to adjustments in the production and filming schedules. The production company, Ace Factory, had previously announced plans to cast a new actor for the role.
