As we stated in our official statement last December, Onew did visit a hospital in the past, introduced by an acquaintance, to receive treatment for skin care. At the time, Onew believed the individual to be a doctor or a medical professional affiliated with the hospital, and there were no circumstances that would have led him to doubt the legitimacy of the medical license or procedures.

Accordingly, during an investigation conducted last May, Onew truthfully stated the facts as described above and cooperated fully with the investigating authorities.

As the investigation is currently ongoing, we hope that unverified speculation or information contrary to the facts will not spread. We will continue to do our utmost to protect the rights and interests of our artists.
