[theqoo] [EXCLUSIVE] ‘PRO-CHINA STANCE’, HENRY, CANCELS ALL HIS CONCERTS IN CHINA

The original schedule was Los Angeles on November 4, San Francisco on the 8th, Seattle on the 12th, Toronto on the 14th, and New York on the 16th. This announcement comes just 34 days before the first North American show. The organizers cited “unforeseen production and logistical challenges beyond our control” as the reason. They stated that although they had explored various options to make the concerts happen, they ultimately determined that proceeding with the tour as planned was not feasible.

1. Is he even popular in the US?

2. Are you saying it’s because of the fuel surcharge?

3. Wasn’t it either that the tickets didn’t sell or the performance visa didn’t come through?

4. Looking into the post, it seems he’s doing well performing in China or countries with large Chinese populations. But wasn’t he originally Canadian or not? Anyway, it’s fascinating

5. He doesn’t have any hit songs~~

6. It doesn’t seem like the cancellation is related to pro-China moves, but the title is…

7. That’s an idol?

8. Even for active 3rd and 4th-generation idols, holding a solo concert in the US is a tough challenge; simply selling tickets to the K-pop fanbase there would likely be difficult to begin with

9. I’ve seen other singers whose North American tours were canceled due to visa issues

10. It’s unusual to see a Chinese-Canadian cosplaying as a Korean
