[theqoo] G.NA ‘EXPELLED DUE TO PR*ST*T*T**N’, MAKES A COMEBACK AFTER 10 YEARS… REMAKING OF ‘I’LL GET LOST, YOU GO YOUR WAY’

Singer G.NA (Choi Ji-na) has announced her comeback after selecting her debut song, “I’ll Get Lost, You Go Your Way”, as her first remake track through a fan vote.

G.NA revealed on the 23rd through her social media,  Instagram⁠, “After counting all the votes, it seems the first remake has officially been decided,” confirming that “I’ll Get Lost, You Go Your Way” was chosen.

The song marks both the starting point of her career and her biggest hit. Released in 2010 as her debut track, it earned her first music show win just one month after her debut in August of that year.

However, in 2016, she was fined 2 million won on charges related to pr*st*t*t**n overseas, after which she halted all entertainment activities. At the time, G.NA denied the allegations, stating that the man involved was “a Korean-American businessman she met out of mutual interest.” She later left Korea and settled in Canada, where she stayed away from the music industry while occasionally sharing updates through social media.

She began breaking her silence in earnest last year. In September, she posted a lengthy message on social media, saying, “What hurt the most wasn’t what happened, but the silence,” and added, “I disappeared not to hide, but to survive.”

She continued, “I’m no longer that girl trembling in fear. I have healed, grown, and am reclaiming my voice.”
