Seulgi: Do you guys have any fights inside your team? 

Moonbyul: Of course, we fight 

Hyojung: We fight 

Youngji: We’re not close

Moonbyul: No but seriously if you guys are working together there’s no way you can be close like friends… I’m saying it this way, but it doesn’t mean that we have team discord. There are moments when you work with each other and you’ll get each other’s feelings hurt, but I don’t think you can become friends

Hyojung: Because you need to still keep some manners. You need to be considerate of each other 

Moonbyul: There’s some boundaries you create

Hyojung: With friends, you can say stuff like “yah, what’s wrong with your face?” and you can joke like that. But among members, you need to keep some manners. I’m more careful around my team 

Mijoo: I’m also more careful around my team 

Youngji: But I like it this way. We need to keep some boundaries between us. I actually think that it’s so so to become too close

2. I don’t really like them sharing things like that, but I feel like you’ll have a hard time if you’re teamed up with someone you don’t like 

3. I don’t think fans enjoy groups who sell themselves as a ‘family that’s beyond just friendships’ and then suddenly claiming they’re all doing this for business. The idol industry is all about creating an illusion around their teamwork

4. I think most idol fans who have a meltdown over that are doing so because they view their idol members with fantasies. You know, like cartoon characters, they imagine the members having to be super close to each other, whether it’s friendship or whatever, that ideal relationshipㅋㅋㅋ But since idols, who are supposed to maintain those ideal relationships while working as a team, appear on that show and talk about realistic human relationships, it seems like they have a meltdown because the comments shatter those fantasies

5. Aren’t they idols? Why are they sharing this ㅠㅠ

6. I can understand this, but idols sell the teamwork fantasy, so just like any other company employees, I thin they should’ve maintained their professionalism 

7. I think they’re still close though. Why are people mad?

8. This is how you preserve a team for a long time 

9. Even with my close friends, I still keep some boundaries. But I can understand why their comments will draw criticism
