[theqoo] NOTICE ABOUT XDINARY HEROES GUNIL’S FUTURE ACTIVITIES

August 13, 2026

Hello, this is JYP Entertainment.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the fans who have always cherished and supported Xdinary Heroes, and we are writing to inform you about the future activities of member Gunil.

We have fully recognized the gravity of the recent issues concerning member Gunil and have engaged in extensive, multifaceted discussions with the artist. Consequently, we determined that it would no longer be feasible for him to continue participating in team activities, and we have mutually agreed to terminate his exclusive contract.

We hereby announce that, effective today, Gunil is withdrawing from Xdinary Heroes and concluding his activities with the group.

We sincerely apologize for causing concern to the fans with this sudden news.

Moving forward, Xdinary Heroes will continue its activities as a five-member group. We will provide our full support in every way possible to ensure the members can stably focus on their musical endeavors.

Thank you.

1. Why are you keeping the school violence guy?

2. So they kept the school violence because he’s popular, but gets rid of him right away because he’s unpopular ㅋㅋ

3. No but I thought they’d release a statement explaining things, but instead they just went “Whatever, let’s kick him out” ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

4. Why not kick out that Hyunjin guy too? He’s even more legendary. So why isn’t he getting kicked out?

5. So he talksh*t about his fans and members? He could’ve just apologized, and I’m sure everyone would’ve forgiven him little by little, but instead they just terminated him. The fans must be so upset right now. What is happening?

6. So he was an unpopular member

7. Since they badmouthed fans and members, it seems like something JYP wouldn’t tolerate

8. So can they continue without a drummer?

9. So the rumors were all true? Wasn’t his selling point that he’s a super talented drummer

10. ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ What about Hyunjin? JYP is f*cking funny

11. Meanwhile, they give a pass to school violence? Oh~ I see, this is unexpected

12. Daebak, it’s my first time seeing them cut someone off like that. Then who’s gonna drum??

13. This was fast

14. So he talksh*t on his members?

15. Congrats to the fans
