[theqoo] RED VELVET WENDY'S LAWSUIT NOTICE

Hello,

This is ASND.

In our previous announcement, we stated that we intend to take strict action against malicious slander, the dissemination of false information, defamation, and se***l har***ment targeting our artists.

Nevertheless, even recently, we continue to confirm posts and comments containing se***l har***ment, including malicious evaluations and disparagement of our artists’ appearances and bodies, as well as se***l objectification.

In particular, any act that infringes upon an artist’s character and rights, such as se***lly commenting on or evaluating a specific body part, mocking or disparaging their appearance and physique, or maliciously spreading false information, constitutes clear defamation and cannot be viewed merely as freedom of opinion or expression.

We will continuously collect evidence regarding malicious posts and comments currently being identified, as well as those discovered in the future, and we will actively respond to any acts that infringe upon our artists’ rights and interests, regardless of the severity of the case.

To protect the character and rights of our artists, we will continue to monitor malicious activities and respond strongly through necessary legal procedures.

Thank you.

original post: here

1. Just how miserable must the lives of the people who leave hate comments about Wendy be?

2. People are free to leave comments out of genuine concern, but there are plenty of hate comments that cross the line ㅋㅋㅋ

3. I used to go to every post about female idols and pop singers and vehemently tell people to stop body-shaming under the guise of concern; back then, people would snap at me, asking if I wanted to let the harmful effects go unchecked. Do you realize now that you were in the wrong? There is no reason to comment on anyone’s body, and no one needs to conform to your standards

4. I wish the people who spout that sh*ty nonsense while claiming they’re “worried” would just realize that it’s nothing more than hate commentsㅋㅋㅋ

5. Wendy fighting! Find strength

6. They throw a fit if you say even the slightest thing to an overweight person, yet they have no problem spouting nasty remarks at a thin person

7. They act like they’re concerned while dragging in all sorts of rumors, but let’s be honest, it’s not concern. They just want to attach sensational details to paint the person as sick

8. Wendy-yah, we love you. Fighting

9. For real, stop “worrying” about others, and go take care of your own body

10. Please… Do something about the f*Cking b*tches here leaving hate comments
