Teams that saw an increase are not affected, but among those that saw a decrease, albums with abnormally low percentage drops were likely adjusted… 

Note: It’s not just K-pop artists who are being adjusted, some pop artists have also had millions of streams drastically removed (because there are fanbases competing fiercely on the charts there as well).

Reading the comments here, you can tell they are forced hate right away. “There’s no real substance to BTS”, “They are just using the famous-for-being-famous-tactic”, kids who say that have flocked here to pretend they can’t hear others while mocking themㅋㅋㅋㅋ I’m a fan of another idol, but I’m seriously sick of this ㅋㅋ

2. Even if they have that many fraudulent streams, they are still first so who cares?

3. Running the factory isn’t going to be cut anyway, that was just fans messing around and getting caught

5. I guess I can accept that the rankings are adjusted, but I’m not sure if the rankings listed there are all that meaningful. Love Youself?? Answer…??? It’s just amazing that these songs, which were released years ago, are still climbing the charts like that

6. It seems like CORTIS has grown into the next big thing after BTS. I wondered if Big Hit could really create the next BTS, but they’ve pulled it off after all

7. I’m curious, even with the rankings adjusted, BTS is still at that rank, right? It doesn’t seem like they have any real competitors in the K-pop scene, so why is the competition so heated? They were just trying to set new streaming records then?
