[theqoo] THE CONTESTANT ELIMINATED FROM KATSEYE’S SURVIVAL SHOW CAUSING A BUZZ IN THE U.S. RIGHT NOW

Adela

She was one of the original trainees and was incredibly talented (having been a ballerina with the English National Ballet, her dancing was truly exceptional).

She played the role of a caring, affectionate “big sister” figure who genuinely loved and looked out for the other trainees.

However, she ranked low in the survival show voting, partly because those sides of her personality only became known after the Dream Academy documentary (which chronicled the road to the KATSEYE debut) was released…

She was eliminated in the first round, leaving fans who followed Dream Academy heartbroken.

If those aspects of her personality had been revealed sooner, she surely would have gained a massive fanbase…

After her elimination, she debuted as an indie solo artist but…

The response to this song started to build gradually, and then…

This song, produced by Grimes, went viral and captivated listeners.

Following this song, she signed a contract with Capitol Records, a famous label home to Katy Perry, Sam Smith, The Beatles, and Troye Sivan

Her song quality got better since then and she became the gays and lesbians’ pick

Her ballerina performances are also going viral

She was a rising star, even performing as a guest on Demi Lovato’s tour, but…

She released a song that gives a shout-out to Nicole Kidman

It became a hot topic for reasons such as the song being good + the title itself featuring Nicole Kidman’s name

She ranked #! in Spotify US

It became a massive hit, reaching No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100!

As a result, she is garnering huge attention in the U.S. as a new female solo dance artist

She’s really a super talented artist so I wish her even bigger success

1. She’s freaking popular lately

2. Wow, I’ve heard almost every song that this person has released. I didn’t know she came out of KATSEYE’s survival show

3. Hul, I’ve only heard her songs and didn’t know who she was.. so she’s from KATSEYE’s survival show, huh?

4. Her songs are freaking good

5. All the kids who stood out from KATSEYE’s survival show are doing well so I’m happy. Fighting to the two members who are debuting in their upcoming Japanese team too

6. She was someone I worried about and felt protective of, so seeing her succeed is amazing. Plus, she’s an artist who shows real self-reflection. She’s definitely going to grow even more in the future

7. I would’ve been happy to see her debut with the team too but… looking at her promotions now, I’m happy she got dropped (in a good wayㅠ)

8. I liked her the most in the documentaryㅠㅠㅠ I knew that she would do well!

9. Ah, so Adela was from KATSEYE’s survival show? She’s super popular lately

10. I saw her performances and they were crazy. She was even dancing to ballet while wearing ballerina shoesㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
