JDY: Kangnam, you discovered a daebak item between Korean and Japanese vocal powerhouses?
K: I thought of a collab where Korean popular artists can cover Japanese songs that are popular in Japan
K: There’s a song from Tuki called Bansanka. I asked Taeyeon-ssi a favor to sing this song. And the moment Taeyeon released her version of the song, it went #1 on the charts. The MV also featured Wonie and Minami. Taeyeon reinterpreted the song using her own vocal color. And Minami and Wonie created a buzz by appearing in the MV. The views blew up and of course the music charts blew up too. It was a huge success
K: And from a broadcast perspective, I can say this, but the next one will be Hanroro! We’re planning to sell the Evangelion OST remake.
K: We’ve already confirmed the hottest artists lineup until next June. We have already finalized an agreement to use those Japanese masterpiece songs
