As an unnie in her 40s, who is already married, I’ll explain to you what it really means to hear “try dating a lot of men.” We don’t mean “You’ll find a good man” like that. It means that you’ll get to meet men who are “kind but boring,” “fun, but incompetent,” “competent, but rude,” “kind, but dirty or lazy,” etc. 

You’ll realize that at the end of the day, there are no such things as a man who has everything. Once you date here and there, you’ll understand what you can compromise on, and you’ll find out what are things that you just cannot forgive even if you d*e for it. In the end, dating around is the process of learning more about yourself
