[theqoo] TWICE’S FANS ARE CURRENTLY GOING WILD OVER THEIR 11TH ANNIVERSARY FAN EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT

ONCEs everywhere, both domestic and international, are in an uproar following the announcement of the 11th anniversary fan party schedule released earlier today.

Here’s why everyone is upset:

1.  Three sessions per day with 250 people selected for each, totaling just 750 attendees (people thought they had misread the number of zeros).

2.  The venue hasn’t been revealed, even though the event is less than two weeks away.

3.  Eligibility is restricted to “ONCE 5th Generation” members (recruitment for which is in April 2025) aged 15 or older. (New fans and younger ONCEs are excluded.)

4.  Considering the scheduled entry times and intervals between sessions, the actual event duration is estimated to be only around 40 minutes.

5.  Meanwhile, the 11th anniversary pop-up store is scheduled to run from the 17th to the 25th.

JYP’s Division 3 has long faced backlash for consistently booking small venues for TWICE’s fan meetings, and the uproar has intensified now that the same issue has occurred with the upcoming fan party.

1. Seems like they are not even planning on using TWICE for money anymore

2. It feels like they weren’t planning on doing this but decided otherwise last minute. I’m thankful but this is such a small-scale event that I don’t think there will be a seat for me. I’m sad

3. No but, they rented such a small place. It looks like they booked it at the last minute instead of just letting it slide
