“Byun Wooseok expressed his excitement about the project, saying, “I’m thrilled to be greeting everyone with a new character.” He cited Prince Lee An’s story and the constitutional monarchy setting as the reasons for choosing the role, adding, “As soon as I read the script, I knew I had to be a part of it.””
“Regarding her role as Seong Heeju, IU said, “She’s an irritable woman who lacks social status. The keyword ‘irritability’ comes up, and when you watch the drama, you’ll think, ‘Ah, that’s why “irritable” was the first thing mentioned in her character introduction.’ She’s irritable and quick to anger, but she’s also very cute. I found her charming while reading the script, so I didn’t have to think twice about taking the role.”
Regarding the character being a chaebol heiress, she laughed and said, “At some point, I found it had its own unique charm. Since she wears such glamorous clothes and accessories, she feels like an influencer as well as a chaebol heiress. She attracts buzz and attention, or, to use a modern term, a bit of ‘rage bait.’ She
s not the typical, idealized, refined character. That mix made it fun.”
Regarding his reason for choosing the project, he expressed satisfaction, saying, “When I read the script, I liked the fast-paced flow that never let up. It depicts the intermingling and conflict between people inside and outside the palace, and it felt both natural and comical.””

3. Ever since ep. 1, it made controversies because of the weird setup. You guys must have read episodes 1 through 4 before making your decision, so there’s no reason to feel wronged

5. The script must have been brilliantly entertaining then. The direction played a big part in that, but the actors couldn’t have known that in advance
6. The way they were planning on just letting it slide without saying anything really made me disappointed
