[theqoo] UNDERAGED M*RD*R SCANDAL RECEIVING A LOT OF ATTENTION IN THE U.S. RIGHT NOW

– The case in which Karmelo (the Black man on the right) k*lled Austin (the White man on the left) during a sports event in Texas. 

– During the event, Karmelo was sitting in the rival school’s tent when Austin and his friends told him to leave. Karmelo told them about 15 times to stop messing with him, but..

He pulled out a knife (the kind with a light that you can buy at Walmart) and stabbed Austin once in the chest, k*ll*ng him on the spot. 

– At the time, the two did not know each other, and since they attended long-standing rival schools, it is believed that this rivalry turned into negative feelings that led to the m*rd*r. 

The problem is that the perpetrator is Black and the victim is White….

Consequently, this issue escalated into a r*c**l controversy in the U.S., 

and when Karmelo was sentenced to 35 years in prison by a unanimous jury in Texas (a state quite notorious for r*c**l discrimination) without a single Black juror,…

We have lost our minds.

A jury convicted Karmelo Anthony of murder for stabbing 17-year-old Austin Metcalf to death. Evidence was presented. Witnesses testified. Self-defense was rejected. He got 35 years.
That’s not a “legal lynching.” That’s justice.

A huge crowd of Black people gathered to protest,

and in response, white people held a counter-protest against them on the other side,

and they were insulting each other and causing a huge commotion…

Since some Black protesters are mocking the victim, this incident is now escalating even further into a r*c**l issue between Blacks and Whites…

1. It’s true, it’s both m*rd*r and a hate crime. But 35 years is a pretty light sentence… They should’ve put a few Black people on the jury though, phew

2. It doesn’t seem like it would make much of a difference even if they jury a Black, so why did they structure it that way to make it an issue?

3. Why did they put together the jury that way?

6. It’s true that the victim is the one who suffered the most, and it’s true that the Black man who committed the m*rd*r is in the wrong. But it’s also true that there was r*c**l discrimination

7. I hear they give out long sentences but also reduce them a lot, so wouldn’t a 35-year sentence mean he’d get out pretty soon?
