Yim Si Wan and Seol In Ah’s forthcoming tvN drama “Love in Disguise” is gearing up for its premiere!

“Love in Disguise” is a romantic thriller that follows an arrogant third-generation chaebol heir who becomes a murder suspect and a former special forces officer who goes undercover as his personal secretary to investigate him. The drama is based on the popular web novel and webtoon “Why Don’t You Know She’s a Woman?” (literal title).

On September 4, “Love in Disguise” shared photos from the drama’s script reading, which was attended by director Park Dan Hee, screenwriter Moon Soo Jung, and cast members including Yim Si Wan, Seol In Ah, Kim Jung Hyun, Yeonwoo, and more.

Yim Si Wan stars as Yoon Yi Jun, the heir apparent to Taegang Group, a leading conglomerate in the business world. Yim Si Wan conveyed Yoon Yi Jun with a voice suited to the character, subtly shifting his tone to reveal the character’s sensitivity and adopting a cold demeanour when distancing himself from the world.

Seol In Ah plays Kang Jae Hee, a former special forces officer who goes undercover as Yoon Yi Jun’s secretary. She infused the role with bright energy, refreshingly conveying the character’s strength and boldness.

Kim Jung Hyun takes on the role of Kim Si Hyun, Yoon Yi Jun’s close friend and an attorney in Taegang Group’s legal team. Kim Jung Hyun conveyed the character’s seriousness with his gaze. In addition to looking after his boss Yoon Yi Jun, he also harbours a mysterious side.

Yeonwoo plays Lee Hye Jung, the chairman’s secretary. Yeonwoo brought an air of mystery to the role with a calm voice and composed expressions, and she heightened anticipation for Lee Hye Jung’s transformation after hours.

Above all, the chemistry between Yim Si Wan, Seol In Ah, Kim Jung Hyun, and Yeonwoo shone during the script reading as they immersed themselves in their roles. The production team commented, “The unexpected relationships between unique characters — from a third-generation chaebol to a female investigator disguised as a man — will bring fresh entertainment,” and asked viewers to look forward to a story that will deliver romance, comedy and thrills.
