[pann] WHY IS CORTIS SO MESSY WITH THEIR DANCING?

I’m a CORTIS fan, and I’m not writing this to f*cking mock them 

But CORTIS really throws away almost all of their choreography. I like them because they’re such f*cking good dancers. Their dancing is so cool and sharp, which is why I’ve rewatched their practice videos over and over, and I watch all their music show performances too.

But at this concert, and at Lollapalooza too, they barely danced at all. Honestly, I think a huge reason CORTIS got so popular is because of their stylish choreography that fits their hip songs.

I get that they’re going for more of an overseas artist vibe, and I understand that. But they still have to dance, don’t they?

Other idol groups perform live while dancing at Lollapalooza and concerts, but CORTIS just acts like rappers on stage, they mostly bob their heads, throw in a bunch of hype ad-libs, and sway their bodies around.

Seriously, there wasn’t a single song at the concert where they performed the full choreography from start to finish. Even if CORTIS wants to present themselves more like artists than idols, there has to be some balance. At the end of the day, they’re still a Korean idol group, and performing choreography is part of the job

It’s because they’ve caught the “Artist” disease. They know they’re handsome and that they embody the MZ vibes, but their faces are humanely-speaking, so bad

What’s with the BigBang comparison? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ BigBang has never been known for synchronized dancing, and they always show off their dances in a refreshing way. They also definitely have a dance member

I left the fandom because of this. Regardless of the synchronization, I liked that they were bringing something unique and new in their dances, but every time they perform in concerts, they’re just doing ad-libs; having backup dancers doesn’t result in any new stage choreography, they just wander around shaking their heads. Honestly their songs are f*cking easy to sing too;; This makes BigBang so comparable to them

The people talking about BigBang, BigBang’s songs are already in a different realm in terms of quality… Honestly, CORTIS’ song quality can’t even be compared with BigBang’s. And BigBang’s stages are well-structured and they banter with their back dancers too. It’s just f*cking enjoyable. Taeyang and GD also will never mess with the chorus or the important parts of the choreography
