[theqoo] CLAUDE AI HAS JUST REMOVED THE CODING-SPECIFIC FEATURES FROM THEIR PRO TIER

It looks like you’ll now need at least the $100 paid tier to use Claude Code, the AI feature specialized for coding.

There were already rumors that the Pro tier’s usage limits were too low for actual coding, making it little more than a demo, but it seems they’ve now changed it so that it’s only available starting with the Max tier.

I’m really starting to feel how expensive AI services are getting. 

1. Ah, this is crazy. My company gave me a Pro subscription, but that wasn’t enough, so I bought another one with my own money. Now I’m switching back and forth between the two accounts

2. I somehow feel like their coding feature is even worse the Gemini

3. I’m scared that others will follow suit now

4. I looked up the news, and some sources say existing users won’t be affected. Which one is right, though? ㅇㅅㅇ

5. Anyways, my company pays for me so….

6. What a shame… I was using it well…

7. The company is telling the developers to stop using that, but isn’t that something they should be able to handle on their own? If they want to use it, shouldn’t they just buy it with their own welfare points? 

8. As AI advances, the gap between the rich and the poor is widening even further, following the logic of capitalism to a tee. That’s something worth watching in the future. Of course, following exactly the same pattern as when the internet first emerged
