After Produce ended and she debuted as Chowon of LIGHTSUM in 2021, her fancam views exploded among male-dominated fanbases. 

It was obvious they were actively targeting that demographic with her promotions;;

Die-hard fans didn’t like it, but knowing how hard it is for a fancam to go viral, they had no choice but to support it, and the best-performing one actually hit over 30 million views

But then again, view counts don’t necessarily equal new fans…

So, after being left on the back burner for two years, they finally released a Japanese song

Even now, the number of hearts are only 2 digits..

I really love our Chowon so much and want to see her active for a long timeㅜㅜ

She’s got the passion, talent, and visuals and she can pull off anything, so she even suits the Japanese idol concept really well!

1. Argh… this breaks my heart. LIGHTSUM, fighting! I’ll have to listen to their songs while working

2. You have to acknowledge that she’s great at her main job, too. This is the song she sang in Round 3 of King of Mask Singer. It’s a shame she couldn’t go any further, but since the reigning champion at the time was Hyolyn, it was unavoidable

3. She was a real I*ZONE member too, what a shameㅠㅠ All the rigged members are doing well right now…

4. I really really like all of LIGHTSUM’s releases…. But their comeback terms were wayyyyyy too longㅠㅠ There are so many fans who left because they got tired of waiting for their next albumㅠㅜ I’m so mad at how many obstacles she had to faceㅜㅜ
