[theqoo] [EXCLUSIVE] BIGBANG, RELEASING A NEW SONG FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 4 YEARS… “FILMING MV NEXT WEEK”

According to a MyDaily report on the 7th, BIGBANG has a filming schedule set for the third week of July in connection with their new song. The group coordinated the three members’ schedules well in advance and will be filming the music video and other content on that day.

This marks BIGBANG’a first new song in four years. Their last track was “Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter (Still Life),” released in April 2022, which featured T.O.P. “Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter” captured BIGBANG’s long journey through the four seasons and, despite the group not promoting it, received widespread acclaim, ranking 7th on the annual chart of Melon, South Korea’s largest music streaming site, that year.

After T.O.P left the group in June 2023, BIGBANG became a trio and has since focused on individual activities, with no new songs released. G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung have all released solo tracks and embarked on solo tours. This new song is set to be released ahead of their tour, which marks their first in nine years since 2017.

BIGBANG will hold “BIGBANG 2026 WORLD TOUR IN GOYANG” for three days from August 21 to 23 at the Goyang Sports Complex in Gyeonggi Province. Following that, they will perform a total of 31 shows across 18 cities worldwide, including North America, Europe, Oceania, and Asia. Additional tour locations will be announced sequentially.

This tour marks BIGBANG’s first large-scale world tour in approximately nine years. The group is set to deliver a performance that blends their numerous hit songs with the musical prowess they’ve honed over the past 20 years and their signature, spectacular stage production.
