[instiz] THEY DID WELL NOT COMMENTING ON AESPA’S PLAGIARISM ACCUSATIONS
“And the black-and-white photo in my proposal where only the eyes glow
that wasn’t just some random image I found online.
I personally edited it to darken the whole image and brighten only the eyes
I just didn’t have any suitable photos to explain the concept idea, so..”
They said that the effect of only the eyes glowing in the dark wasn’t just something they stumbled upon, but something they planned themself. If you search for photos on Pinterest, you’ll find a Photoshop tutorial that shows how to make only the eyes glow in the dark using that image
1. It made absolutely no sense to accuse someone of plagiarism based on a few images posted on Pinterest, so as a design major, I kept explaining that it wasn’t true, but they wouldn’t budge, and I knew this is how it would end up
2. Did you see the email saying OP passed? Anyway, it’s not false
> (OP) I’m not saying that the acceptance email was false, I’m saying that it’s not plagiarism
3. What are you talking about…? I’m someone who’s never once commented on this issue (I can prove it). This post is so ridiculous that I feel compelled to reply. The original poster said from the start that the image with the sparkling eyes “within their own concept” wasnt just something they picked up and added like the other images, but something they retouched and included themselves. They never claimed to have created that expression, did they? If you look it up, you’ll find that expression too~ It’s right here. So what do you want us to do..?
4. The overall structure and planning were similar in some ways, but I don’t think it’ll be easy to get credit for it. It’s just me who feels a little uneasy about it, though
5. The orignal poster was talking about the front-facing photos too. You should read their post properly. I’m embarrassed for you
6. I don’t think the original poster ever actually called it plagiarism to begin with. They were just upset because it was so similar to a proposal they had created, and even then, judging by the comments, I don’t think it’s fair to call it plagiarism. It was just someone misusing information and news who called it plagiarism; the original poster never even mentioned the word “plagiarism.”
7. It’s not just about being black and white, they said they didn’t “just pick something up off the street,” but that they created it themself. Yet when you search for photos, tutorials pop up showing how to retouch images so that only the eyes glow in the dark. Do you really think that makes sense? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
8. So, when did the original poster ever say you came up with that method?ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ It seems like you’re the one who didn’t understand the original post properly…
