[theqoo] IS THE AMERICAN SUMMER REALLY THIS HOT???
“If you watch this, you’ll be grateful to be living in Korea. It’s not always the case, but American Summers are beyond your imagination. The tan just pills off. Everything just gets extremely hot. All the food you leave outside just melts. And your seatbelt just becomes a curling iron.”
Is it even worse because it’s not humid???? Wow this is scary.
Seriously is the US really that hot????
1. This is a horror movie
2. I’d be having such a hard time
3. At that level, it’s like getting burned by sunlight in real time
4. I went to the desert, and it seriously felt like I had a hairdryer in my mouth.
There was absolutely no humidity, and every time I breathed, hot air rushed into my mouth, drying it out completely. Since the air was so hot, it was hard to breathe through my nose. But because there was no humidity, it was bearable once I went into the shade and drank some cool water
5. I grabbed the handrail of an escalator connected to the outdoors in Las Vegas and got black rubber all over my hands… The handrail was rusted
6. The American West has a desert climate, so it is hot and extremely dry, causing my whole body to crack. Lotion was completely useless, and I realized the greatness of Vaseline
7. When I went to Utah for work, I looked like that, so I even applied sunscreen to my fingers and wore long-sleeved shirts
8. If you walked around Las Vegas during the day, it would look exactly like that
9. Is it really feeling like I’m being roasted to a crisp because the humidity is so low?? And are wildfires spontaneously combusting too? ㅜㅜ
10. Is this real…? How are they even alive…??
