Along with head coach Hong, eight players including Cho Hyun-woo (Ulsan), Kim Min-jae (Bayern Munich), Hwang In-beom (Feyenort), Hwang Hee-chan (Wolverhampton), Paik Seung-ho (Birmingham City), Kim Moon-hwan (Daejeon), Lee Kang-in (Paris Saint-Germain), and Seol Young-woo (Red Star Belgrade) will depart Guadalajara, Mexico on the 28th and return to Incheon International Airport via the United States. The Football Association stated, “There will be no separate return ceremony.”
